External temperature display
People, I may be missing something really obvious but the manual seems to indicate that the ext temperature is supposed to be shown in the instrument cluster above the fuel guage. Is this only available on some models like the EX-L ? I have an EX ...

I did some checking and unlike the USA Fit, the Canadian Fit does not list exterior temperature indicator on the specs. OP, were you looking at the Canadian Owners Manual?

That and the fact that the EX-L comes with a manual in Canada.

I'm pretty sure the Canadian and US owners manuals are the same. For example, the US manual that I have has instructions for AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL that I wish we had! That was the biggest difference between the Fit and Civic that I wish wasn't a difference....

Odd that they mention it in the manual and not on the specifications on the website.

Thanks guys I am going to head to the dealer and have a look at some other models. The manual does say 'not available on all models' - the dealer doesn't have a clue whether it should be there or not so I will look in an EX-L and see if its there.

Not to Hijack the thread, but the Title seems so relevant. The manual describes a procedure to adjust the display +/- 5 degrees F:
Adjust the temperature reading up to ± 5°F or ± 3°C if the temperature reading
seems incorrect.
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (w*1.
2. Press and hold the (Select/Reset) knob for 10 seconds or more while the
outside temperature is shown on the information display.
The information display goes into temperature adjustment mode. The display
starts showing from -5°F to +5°F (U.S.) or -3°C to +3°C (Canada).
3. Release the knob when the right adjustment amount is shown.
The adjustment is complete.
I've tried holding the button down and I only managed to reset my trip ODOs. Has anybody done this successfully?

I have an LX from canada, no outside temp. It's in the specs on my dealers website. i'm waiting for my first oil change to quiz them on it and a few other things.
but seeing as this is the second person to bring this up i'd say the LX doesn't have this option...which is weird cuz it's Fing cold here and it would be nice to know when there is a chance for black ice.

Do you have the URL that shows the LX has a temp guage ?

According to the LX Information Display page on the Honda Owners site, the LX does have an outside temperature display:
Information Display | 2015 Honda Fit | Honda Owners Site
However, comparing this page to the same info page for the EX shows that they are identical. It's likely that there is an error one way or the other.

Remember that this is a US web site and the Canadian / US models differ. For example on the EX in the US you get keyless entry BUT you dont get leather wrapped steering wheels !
So maybe the Canadian models only have them on the EX-L ?
Any EX-L owners with a temp gauge showing ?

it's on the right about half way down the page. looks like a copy paste though so who knows how accurate it is.
