2015 fit LX Mt si blade rims widest tires

I had a 2000 Civic Si em. I grabbed the SI blade rims before I got rid of it. with those rims and their offset what is the widest tire I can run with my 2015 fit lx mt on stock suspension?

Not familiar with the SI wheel, so I can't directly answer your question, but here's what I'm running...

the si blades are 15×6, 4 lug 100 mm bolt pattern, +45 mm offset.

Should work fine, then.

Edit - check the hub bore, too. I have a post in the Fit Shoes thread that lists all the stock wheel specs...

They should fit fine on your car. Regardless of the offset, i probably wouldn't run wider than a 195/50/15. Maybe a 195/55/15 if you wanted a meatier look. I've had a few of these wheels along with GSR blades, GSR Fat Fives, and even LS Meshies! 195 is the best choice bar none.

Tires seem like overkill for a Fit on the streets, but a set of 4 runs less than one rear on my other car so DO IT!

When I went from fr710s on the Si (which is what the fit has, and btw the fit is the same dims aside less overhang than my old EM1) to firehawk wideoval indy 500s its was like night and day difference. The tread width on those was 7 inches, these tires are 7.9 so thats almost two full inches more tire on the ground than even my si had. My only complaint so far on handling is it has a bit of body roll coming from the rear.

Also, we have a VERY accurate weigh station (legally they have to be for this scrap) by me. Without me in the fit and seriously nothing in it at all with a full tank of gas the car weighed EXACTLY 2500 pounds. I have read online from the scca that the 2nd gen fit's back seat (smart seat- like the 3rd gen) weighs 300 friggen pounds... holy crap. So, seeing that I NEVER use it (i don't have blood related midgets) that is getting taken out.

I am in MN area, I will be taking this to BIR this summer hence the tires. I am interested in a rear anti roll bar too, the 3rd gens don't have them I guess. Boo.

Cusco lists one on their Japanese site (it's a PDF download, no link!). I'm looking for a RSB, too... hopefully they or someone else will have one available in the US soon.

The Achilles ATR Sport 195/60/15 and 195/55/15 would interest me. So cheap.

I know they make race oriented tires too but I have no idea where to order them from. I'd like some in 14".

if you do take out your seats, just throw a bunch of cross bars in the back for a temp solution!!!

-xcuse the mess and commentary; it was a quick vid i sent out for roll cage estimates ;p

Yea, i def wana rock achilles b4 every1 realizes their pretty good for the price and then once they're mainstream, 500% price increase!!! I have a set of yoko advan's AO48's and Falken Azenis RT-215's in 14's still

Have you thought about trying out Federal 595's for your 14" needs? Might not have as much grip as the new RT-615K's but if ure in cold/wet weather, might do you better!!! Did i mention CHEAP AF!

a bit off topic but what are people not building these fits like they should? they are basically what the civic hatch was but with 2 more doors.

the l15b is a dohc motor also, so there is that too. I think we need to see a scer for the l15b

Hey I didn't know they made the 595s in that size. Yeah, the other option was 615Ks, since i'm familiar with the old ones, but the Federals are a good budget option and I've always wanted to try them out just to see first hand.

You still have RT 215s? They must be expired 2x by now

Ok sorry OP

honestly, i'm pretty sure with your guy's dohc L15B is gona b around for AWHILE and its going to have parts galore, but to be honest, i'm pretty sure with some nice bolt ons and a good tune, the GK will be a cool little monster @ 150-160whp! Is there anyway you guys can help me convince my wife to let us get a new MT GK instead of a CVT GK?

Yea, i'm not gona lie- I AM A HOARDER... #notproud

I collect rare wheels AND tires! a lot of the crazy tires i know are waaay beyond their life cycle, but I still have them around for kicks and display. I was sad bcuz i let a set of 15" Azenis 215's with the stickers on them for a premium, wish i never did :'-(

But yea, hope we were able to help the OP out!

no you guys are great! So far driving this car has been a lot of fun it handles really well the shifting is great. The only thing like I said I would like is if say I had a little less roll from the rear. I would like it if this was like another 70 horse, anymore I think it would be just too much.

Wheels will fit fine, you can run a 40mm offset with a 6" wide wheel, you need like a 45mm offset with a 7" wide wheel though. These are my winter wheels, 15x6 41mm offset

What are you running for winters? I tend to lean toward generals or winterforce tires, best bang for buck. Also, will 14s fit on this? I have 14's from my si that are winter tires yet.

I was pleasantly surprised that the factory tires are FR710s. These are very reliable tires. Years and years ago I worked for a automotive company full time.

Nice color, same as mine. The sales guy tried to get me into the neon yellow they had on the floor. I decided that I didn't want to get pulled over all the time.

These are Michelin x-ice xi3. They have been great so far. 14's should fit just fine the base model first gen fits came with 14's.
