I took my iPod out of my Fit and want to use a flash drive. I put a folder for each artist and sub folders within each artist folder with album titles. The display on the Fit audio screen shows the artist folders and each sub folder in it. It makes it a pain to see all those folders when wanting to select an artist. I would like to find a way to just display the folders with the artist names and not the sub folders in those folders. I can then pick an artist folder and see the album folders within it. Is there a way to do this either on the Fit or on my computer under folder options? I've played around with it and can't figure it out. Thanks!

 

I arrange my music in the same folder hierarchy. To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to change the way the head unit displays the folders and song files on a flash drive. I wish I could see only a list of artists, then a list of a selected artist's albums, then a list of songs on a selected album.
