Service A 2, 3
My son's "Wrench" lit up yesterday, at about 25,500 miles: A 23. The oil is at 15%, so it wants me to change the oil, CVT fluid, and some filters. I have the synthetic oil, oil filter, and K&N air filter. I ordered four quarts of HCF-2 from HondaPartsNow. It's generally available for $8 - $9, but shipping can cost over $4.00 per quart. HPN had the best price I could find. Now I'll have to get a cabin filter form somewhere.
Just a few days ago, I posted here, asking about the mileage interval for changing the CVT fluid. It looks like 25,000 is a good reference figure. The car is thirteen months old.

The 3rd gen. cabin air filter is extremely fragile. I ordered one online and the shipper packed it with the 4 quarts of oil I ordered. The filter arrived with a hole punched through it. I asked for a replacement, and that one also arrived broken. It looked like someone had picked it up and their thumb went through it.
I'm going to end up paying the inflated local dealer price just to be able to inspect it for damage before paying for it.

I didn't find the cabin air filter that delicate? I banged it against my palm a number of times to get the leaves and bug guts out before reinstalling it. Sounds like they were mishandled (not by you, but during transit). Did it come in it's own box, or was it just the plastic sleeve? There is a pic in this thread if anyone wants to see it (https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...-cleaning.html)
SilverEX15 - 2 also mentions a drive belt inspection. Any idea how to do that? I guess I'll have to poke around to see if the drive belt is visible or behind some form of cover. I haven't really researched it myself as I've only got about 12500 miles at the moment.

The "drive belt" they're talking about is the serpentine belt that drives the alternator, water pump and compressor. You can see a bit of it on the end of the engine, where it wraps around the compressor. Look to see that it's pliable, has no cracks or chunks of rubber missing. They seem to last quite a long time, but if one fails, it will put you on the side of the road.

I checked the black Fit again, and it changed the service requirements after about 100 miles of driving. Yesterday, it wanted 2,3. Today it wants 1,2. It added Rotate Tires, but removed Change CVT Fluid. Strange

I've never seen the wrench for the oil change before, but I've changed it at the 20% point- synthetic. I rotate the tires at 5,000 miles, but the indicator hasn't come on till almost 26,000 miles indicating a need for rotation.

That is strange. Wonder why it took 26k to remind you to rotate your tires. Maybe it knows you did it already????

Well, I did mention it after I started the car. Voice recognition must be better than I thought.
