Celaya Mexico Factory

Crazy question..........We are wintering about 35 miles away from Celaya, Mexico. We drive there every few weeks to hit Costco and we were wondering if Honda allows tours of the Fit plant. We are driving a 2013 Fit that made the trip here from NW Montana.

Thanks

Mike

I don't think they do. First question, do you know spanish? It yes, that would make the process easy.

You can call 33 32 84 01 55 or email andres_caballero@hdm.honda.com HE is the RP from honda mexico in celaya. You could call him. But spanish would be required.

I don't know if they do; most factories don't. But it's worth a try!

We showed up to the factory in Osaka, Japan where my Daihatsu was built to see if they offered tours. The guards were completely confused as to why we would be so interested and came all the way from America to see their factory (luckily it wasn't the only reason we went to Japan).

Like most factories, I can't imagine the Celaya plant being in the most touristy of areas!

If you are interested in touring an assembly plant, the Toyota plant in Georgetown, KY does tours. The numbers allowed are limited, so reservations are encouraged. The VW plant in Chattanooga, TN did tours, but they are currently not doing them due to a plant expansion. They say tours will resume when construction is finished.
