2015 Honda Fit 6MT Problems
So my vehicle started off with a bad transmission on the get go. Dealer replaced the transmission and gave me a 690 check for the inconvenience.
Last week I drove to Kansas City, which is like 250 miles from my location. Exact date was on October 20th, came back on 21st and left it in the garage.
Today I tried using the car to go to the store. Totally dead, does not respond at all to anything. I figured it was a dead battery, I went to walmart and bought a battery charger and did it for 30 minutes. My batter was actually never down, was at 50% on the battery charger/conditioner.
Left it on for 30 minutes and rehooked my car, tried starting and it just clicks none stop. Then the alternator/start mechnaism icon came on. Just freaking great.
Brand new vehicle at 6026 miles and my alternator is already done. I regret trading in my infiniti and it seems like this brand new car is going to be a problem car. Paid cash out the door with registration and everything it was almost 19,500.
I feel like getting rid of this piece of shit but at the same time the cost I'll be absorbing is none sense.
Very disappointed Fit owner, I have a road side assistance tow truck coming tomorrow morning and it will be hauled in to the dealer I bought it from.

i was in the same boat. i wanted to burn mine 36 hours into ownership. i too, had transmission/clutch issues with less than 200 miles on the clock. my original selling dealership was less than honest and a second dealer tried to charge me $2000 to fix it. i was less than pleased.
luckily a third dealer stepped in, and repaired the car free of charge. since then, i had one no start issue, but that turned out to be a loose clutch switch connection which i figured out on my own. car is nearly out of warranty now, and i will be going back to the dealer to address some small issues along with the coil recall next week.
after 25 years of honda ownership, my confidence is starting to waver... they don't make them like they used to. gone are the days of 300k+ trouble free hondas.
