Red light blinking from gauge cluster when doors locked
hi all,
when u lock your car, do u have a secondary red light blinking from your gauge cluster? i swear ive never seen this one before. i know the red light from the radio is normal.
the reason im asking is because earlier today, i tapped a fuse from under the hood (A/F sensor, the only one to power only while the car is on) to power my DRLs. worked fine, shut off car earlier and they turned off mult times. moved my car just now but locked it using the remote (i normally use the button on the handle), and noticed my DRLs werent shutting off. thats when i noticed this secondary red light.
also, i used my obd2 scantool and no errors
i posted a video on the truefitcrew group on facebook (it's just a blinking red dot from the gauge cluster when the car is armed):

any help appreciated,
thanks

On the older Fits, at least, it's perfectly normal. The flashing anti-theft light on the radio is I guess to tell people that they need to grab the secret code from the glove box when they steal the radio. The flashing light on the dashboard is for the simple built-in car alarm.
