Daily White EX 6MT
What's up guys, picked up my new white orchid pearl EX with 6 speed manual transmission in early december, I have been browsing this forum for a few weeks and decided to start a littler thread. This is my first new car, I currently own a 1985 push button 4WD civic wagon and a 1988 DX sedan. Both cars are in the process of being restored. I have always owned EF civics so the fit is a hole new ball park of bells and whistles and some sweet factory options. This car is my daily driver so I am trying to not get too crazy with it. We will see how that pans out..
I purchased a few accessories with the car at the dealership:
-Carpet floor mats
-Cargo tray
-Cargo cover
-Full nose mask
-Four mud flaps
-Window Visors
-Rear bumper applique
-Cargo Net (In route)
-Cargo Liner
-Clips for cargo cover (Dealership didn't order them with my cover)

A few things that I purchased after I brought the car home:
-i-VTEC vinyl decals
-JDM leather key fob case
-JDM sun shade cover
-JDM half seat covers
-JDM small pocket
The outer rear headrests on JDM Fit's are smaller than USDM models so eventually I will need to pick up two JDM headrests to have the seat covers completely installed.
Still have a few things I would like to buy:
-Sunroof visor
-All weather mats
-Tien S-tech lowering springs
-20mm spacers
-Illuminated door sill garnish
-Body side moldings
-Air refiner
Over all I am very happy with my new honda fit, I will post updates when I can!
Here are my other two build threads for my Civics, slow progress but big things are coming for both of these cars.

Wow that civic wagon thread. Where were you about to order those seat doilies and the leather fob cover? I've seen the covers on page 9 of the Japanese Honda Access catalog, but no where to purchase them.
Looking forward to seeing your updates!

congratz on your purchase
Those half seat covers are interesting- I'm curious if they are more for style?
I kind of like that sunshade cover too- can you secure it from theft, like if you were at the mall?
And one last question- does the new Fit have a DOHC motor now?

Thanks man, that car is my main focus currently. The wagon has been out of commission for almost two years now, time to change that!
I have been restoring these Mugens for my civic's, wonder how they would look on the fit.
Thanks man, I ordered from yahoo.jp. Basically you can go through a third party like tenso.com when buying items from Japan, the package ships to the third parties warehouse and they dispatch to the US. I have also used jauce.com in the past, which is similar to yahoo.jp.
I purchased the seat covers for aesthetics, coming from the EF world I have always seen them in catalogues and accessory brochures but they rarely ever pop up for sale and when they do they aren't cheap.
The sunshade cover has two flaps on either side that slide in between the door jam's, similar to the fender bra's that slide in between the headlight and front of the fender. I think if someone really wanted to steal the cover it wouldn't be incredibly hard. But once again its a unicorn part that I had always seen for EF's so I had to grab it for the fit!
Hah! Trying my best not to get too crazy with it though, I have two other cars that need some love as well. It is very nice to be able to purchase accessories from the dealership, don't have that luxury with my other cars. Most dealerships wont even look for parts that old.

That FOB cover is great. Perfect way to keep the FOB nice and new looking. If I can't find it in the states reasonably I may have to make a side trip when I am in Japan next.

My order from Honda came this week!
-Cargo net
-First aid kit
-Cargo liner
-Clips for cargo cover strings
Im working on attaching something under the cargo cover that causes the strings to retract when the trunk hatch is closed. I don't know why Honda didn't put something like that on these covers; my buddies 86 SI has a cargo cover that is equipped with a retractable cargo string.. WTF Honda!?
