'15 Fit LX with 16x7 Rota RB

Howdy folks!

I tried to ignore the steel wheels and hubcaps on my new Fit... but I just couldn't. I ended up getting a set of Rota RB wheels from A Spec wheels. Got 'em mounted and balanced today- REALLY happy with the result. [ignore the dirty car, please!]

EDIT- Forgot to add that these are +40 offset with 205/50R16 Kumho Ecstas. No rubbing so far, keeping my fingers crossed.

Those look really good on this car. Silver wheels look great on a red car.

Nice look. I run same size wheel/tire/offset on my GE with Swifts and only very occasional rub.

Like jimboz i have the Rota RB wheels with 205x50x16 tires. I've had them for about a month now. There has been no rubbing, the speedo is correct and the handling and ride have not changed.

I couldn't really tell if I liked the wheel/tire setup. It looked 'ok' until I looked at this last pic. Damn..it does look nice. Especially with the tint and all.

Have any of you had rubbing problems with this 16x7 et40 wheel and 205/50 tire size now that you've had them on for awhile now? Appreciate some feedback as I'm shopping for tires for a set of RBs I just purchased.

This combo has been on the car for a year now and they have never rubbed.

Thank you. I was going to remount the stock tires to avoid interference problems, but now I'll seriously consider some 205/50 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's.

I'm assuming your car is at stock height? What brand and model tires do you have mounted?

I have General G-Max AS-03 (205/50ZR16SL), stock ride height.

I have same size and offset. I am lowered on Swifts and I do rub occasionally. My liners have worn nicely. Not all the way through.

17"s

Hi,

I would like to check if any one of you have tried this set up and if you can share feedback about rubbing.

17x7 +37 OZ Superturismo LM wheels, this is taken from a Mazda 2 car with a tire size of 205/45/17.

I will also be putting Tein Flex Z coils but not lowering it much.
