Wheels Are Being Stolen
My dealer gave me wheel locks and said I'd be glad he did. Then I see this story in my news feed today.

The cars.com Fit test car was targeted and had a wheel stolen after only 8 days with the car.

Saw a local 15 fit Ex in Queens new York sitting on cinder blocks September of 2014...all the wheels were gone.
I ordered wheel locks from McGuard as well as spline drive wheel locks for the remaining 3 studs to further deter thieves. I also hid the keys separately under the carpet. Unfortunate to have to do that but people make it so.

Wheel locks only make the process of getting the wheel off slower. They make special removal tools for wheel locks. Best way IMO is a 2 way alarm with tilt sensor. They can't get the wheel off without jacking the car up some.

Just ordered the Gorilla Guard locks with the spinning collar on them for 14 bucks off Amazon. In addition to that I have the stock OEM wheel locks, so two locks per tire.
Should at least give the would be thief a challenge, or give me enough time to catch said thief in the act, and express my undying belief in the .40 caliber solution!
