HKS Fit Sport Turbo in C&D

Anyone get their December Car and Driver yet? On page 106 they have a review on a HKS Fit Sport Turbo (GD3). It's not online yet, so I can't provide a link.

lol $3000 and your fit wont be but half a second quicker 0-60? think ill spend that money on something else.

In fact, Car and Driver's quickest 0-60 time for the GD was 8.7. They got 8.5 for the 09, and Motor Trend got 8.3 for the 09 as well.

car and driver didn't put the coeff. of drag like they normally do. maybe they didn't know it?

Don't hold your breath. For $25k they got a Fit barely faster than stock.
Turn to the next page and see what Suzuki did for $25k. Now thats something.

I KNOW my fit goes 0-60 in less than 8.6 seconds. But then I don't have a cat, and I've got larger injectors. Still, I think there was something wrong with that test.

I agree with explosivepotato about something wrong with the test. We all know the HKS Fit turbo kit isn't the fastest out of the box due to Carb. Also i think $25K is list price on all the parts on that car including the custom body kit, wheels, etc.....

gd is supposedly faster than the ge according to some testers
a TURBO gd being slower than a stock ge is plain sad

coming from hks its just unbelievable

there is few explainations to this - hks put the turbo the wrong way in, or they forgot to mount the internals inside the snail (O_O)! or retained the stop mappings and just changed it at 6500 rpm for a sudden 30hp increase in the last 100rpm

emmisions or not, plain pathetic results
