here's the DIY if you want it:

Here's the DIY for the Bolt-On Projector Lens that i'm selling. After I installed it, I can truly say, that it's REALLY easy!! I did the entire job in 2 hours...including dissembling the headlight!!

Firstly, follow this thread on dissembling the headlight:

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...rojectors.html

1) here's the headlight without the lens

2) you have to remove the bulb holder spring and the reflector...thingy???

You have to remove it from the back end.

3) Here's the headlight now:

4) remove all the spin locks, springs and washers from the projector unit. REMEMBER WHERE THEY GO!!!

5) Find out which side is the top side of the projector.

6) Feed all the wires through the FRONT of the headlight so that the Projector unit faces forward.

7) Put the locking tab back in place. IT ONLY GOES ONE WAY!

8) Now, put back all the spin locks, springs, washers everything IN THE RIGHT ORDER!

9) Guess what..... YOU'RE DONE!!

EASY!!!

Here's a pic of the Halo on:

Low Beam Cut-Off

High-Beam

The only pic that i've got is this one.

I didn't hook them up on mine because i've got the R8 lights. I felt that the Halo's and the R8's would clash.

Yes you can change them. They do come out. They use D2S bulbs

How is the back sealed as the stock rubber seal is not going to seal against the wires properly as the hole is much bigger to account for the thickness of the base of the H4 bulb.

The back dust boot goes over all the connectors fine. I"ll grab pics later. Plus, the entire unit has it's own dust boots/seals anyway.

So we can use our H4 hi-low hid kits that we have now with this projector. I just want to see how wide and far the beam is whenever you can take a picture in an open area.

You can use your current BALLASTS only. Not the bulbs

Subscribed. You've mentioned several times that people can use their existing ballasts. Does the kit come with EVERYTHING needed, including ballasts? It looks like it does, so I'm a little confused as to why you tell folks they can use existing stuff...

Ppl were wondering if they can use their current HID kits. You can use everything except the bulbs. Wiring and ballasts are compatible with the projector kits. You can't UAE the bulbs because the projectors use a D2S bulb.
