im not a fan of the j's c-pillar bar. it just kinda looks like a cheap design with flexible ends . i have the ultra bracing bar though and the only place it can flex is the adjustment nut in the middle.

Um.... everyone is entitled to their opinion, however I would recommend ACTUALLY seeing the real thing or testing it. I have no complaints about it. Tanabe products on the other hand... is a different story.

did you have to add any washers? Did you keep the crush washer? I couldn't get the bolt to get in. Tomorow I'll dissassemble the brackets from the bar so I'm not banging the other side against the interior.

It doesn't come with any washers. Installation is pretty basic. The Fit has everything you need to install this.

If it's basic, I'm an idiot. The Progress rear swaybar was easier than this. My J's c pillar came with 2 washers, one for each side. Not quite sure WTF to do with those.

Older ones were not engraved, but came with the J's sticker.

You don't need them. I remember those were included for the JDM spec. Just take the covers off, line up the holes, and tighten the bolts. That's pretty much it. Take a look at my pictures. If your still having trouble, I guess have a mechanic help you. They shouldn't charge more than $15.

Sure. But I would never buy a used one w/out the engraving. There's too many fakes circulating around.

Wow. The poll closed. I guess the J's Racing C-Pillar won. I'm happy about the result. T1R makes copies of everything from J's Racing to Cusco to Spoon. Now they are duplicating R35 stuff. Good business sense, but not real JDM.

I'm gonna go outside and take the brackets off the bar to make the job easier. I'll be back if there's a problem lol

aren't you just supposed to bolt it up on to the seat belt harness on top?

yeah it's not that easy unless you take the brackets off the bar first. I'm weak so trying to hold that somebitch up is annoying. I got it though:

looking at your pics again junktea, I think my bracket bolt is backwards. Does it matter? I doubt it, but if it does I guess I have to reverse it *sigh*
