What makes you think Revscene cause VI? I didnt get VI after going to numerous meets.

Werd. The meet wasn't the reason you got a VI. And yes, what is a box 1 infraction?

 

they Box 1 is they tow u and take ur plates away

and because he said he saw my car at the meet and was wondering how i can drive like that on the road....and then he saw me today....
i am a week away from getting bags.....and he can't wait !!! ugh !

 

here are the list of things he said that were not legal
I can't have tints on my back windows cuz in case i crash and because there are tints on the glass, he won't be able to break the window the SAFE me .....
My burger, defi gauge, and other things cannot be on the dash ....
Even White LED are not allow because on the LED it doesn't say DOT !
i cannot have projector retrofit cuz the headlamp didn't come like this from factory, and there are no OEM marking on the projector
and i can't have any lights coming out of the bottom of the car even tho it doesn't turn on when i am driving.
oh and i got a charge for Widen Exhaust....my hole is the same size as OEM....i just have 4 of them....

and he remembers me when i was RED ...... hahaha

 

and AARON .... ur sunroof isn't legal according to transport Canada, it was not in the spec when it was made for USDM road use !

 

Felix, I feel sorry for you.... really.

We all mod cars and honestly, police can say any mod on the car is not legal... but it just seems that you are getting all the blame.

What are you going to do now since your car got a box 1 VI? How much is the govt trying to steal from you this time? Need a ride?

I think my sunroof is the last thing I worry about... I got caught for no DRL at night a while back... so really, police in richmond can ding u for any reason...

Thats so crazy... how many cars out there have tinted glass, stuff toys on windshield etc? Your Burger isnt even that big~! I've seen people putting the entire Sanrio Collection on their dash~ with fluffy steering wheel cover driving with a chiwawa~

And whats with the charge on your exhast? You mean you are getting sue and need to go to court or some sort????!

He remembers you when you are red, does that mean your car is in some kind of database? You MAY want to change your plates... or maybe call ICBC and see whats the deal~ just my 2c. You prolly spending a lot to pay off those VIs...sigh

 

i am sure their database has all sorts of pictures of my car,
and no! changing the plates doesn't work, it will always lead back to the records, and plates on my car usually don't last more then 6months...this time around i got lucky, but my car was in the paint shop for over 3 months.....

well i got charged for 3 things, blue puddle lights, white led and widen exhaust

aprox $550-600 this time i think, $300 on the tickets, $100 tow fee, $100 inspection and the service charges to get it insured again
sucks....there goes my rear disc brakes....sigh

 

I would dispute it. I talked to Richard (who owns a civic with LED undergrow) last night at the Kingsway Honda Event and he said as long as your cars are not moving with the ligts on, it "SHOULD" be fine. Also, there are a lot of people out there with the mods you done but don't get caught...

Dispute it first, and worst comes to worst, plea to teh judge that you are a student and cant pay such an expensive ticket.

Sorry, but you may not want to hear it, but you kinda bring it on yourself. I've NEVER been VI-ed. Probably because my car isn't as crazy as yours. If you don't want to keep getting pulled over, don't do such obvious modifications to your car.

I do feel for you, but again, it is kinda your own fault.

 

that's what he said to me, and i agree, know and understand that the j's LED isn't DOT and isn't legal....but my puddle lights won't come on unless it's in PARK..so that i am going to dispute, as for widen exhaust, my exhaust is same size as the CLK55, so i am going to dispute that too

 

sucks to hear what happened felix hope going to court will solve a lot of problems.

I think the widened exhaust infraction is due to having larger diameter piping, not just that you have a quad exhaust setup. Do you still have your cat on the car? That could also do it.

As for the questions about first box and VI, I'm going on a limb here and say that box 1 is as he stated is getting your car towed and plates removed. From what I've heard, you don't get it back until you remove those modifications. VI I'm guessing are the illegal infractions that you have on the car and will have to pay a fine for.
