Another reason not to go to revscene meet
what does exhaust sizing have to do with anything? i dont understand how he can just point and read off a list of things that are illegal. it just shows there is not enough crime in richmond and the cops are looking for tickets to give out.
i was just pulled over on my bike in seattle and the cop said i have an excessively loud exhaust, my license plate is displayed improperly, i was listening to my ipod, and i was doing 70 in a 45 zone.... but when he went back to his car he turned his lights on and sped away.... guess someone really needed his help. i never got a ticket in the mail either.
sometimes a higher crime rate does help.

they can use ANY reason they can think of to give you a ticket. EVEN if that LED is DOT.. they can STILL give you a VI.
they can give anybody a VI. however if you drive a completely stock car.. your chance of getting a VI is almost .... I only say almost... zero.
they can give you a vehicle inspection TO SEE IF YOUR CAR IS QUALIFIED for safe driving on the road and meet all regulations/requirements. so even if your car is stock, you can still get a VI from them.
leaving the VI sticker on your windshield might help reduce future occurrence...
I usually just try and stay away from them if I come in close proximity of them.

Now that the Canada line is open, maybe some of the crime in Surrey will start coming to Richmond... give it a few more moths and maybe there will be less VIs and more drug bust.

My girlfriend was driving my Fit and she spotted 2 Officers checking out the car just as she was entering Aberdeen Parking... she later told me that if I was driving, the cops may have pull me over...
So, girls driving Mod cars = Sexy; Guys driving Mod cars = (E)VI(L) ?! @.@
box 2 VI is u have to get inspection done within 30days
i think ppl in rmd need to crash their car more,
traffic cops are differ then other cops, RCMP traffic department is only responsible for the cars and traffic and work closely related to transport canada
so in order to occupied them more, ppl need to crash more so that they are more busy saving ppl then pulling over ricers like me
I think the widened exhaust infraction is due to having larger diameter piping, not just that you have a quad exhaust setup. Do you still have your cat on the car? That could also do it.
As for the questions about first box and VI, I'm going on a limb here and say that box 1 is as he stated is getting your car towed and plates removed. From what I've heard, you don't get it back until you remove those modifications. VI I'm guessing are the illegal infractions that you have on the car and will have to pay a fine for.

he didnt check the cat
but either way, i think it will be hard to fight it off, after all, having anything NON-OEM is illegal
if u have VOLK RACING wheels, they could say "these are not ment for your car, as your car comes stock with 6.5 X 16 wheels, 17X7.5 could be dangerous on your car as it is not tested by Honda ...."
they always have a way to ticket you !!!
damn i should be a cop

and with most cops, if they pull u over once they will pull u over again,
remember last year in July, the cop took pictures of all my mods with his DSLR !! that was the time i had BLUE j's LED
*i've heard many stories !!
but then again, they hire bad ppl for police for a reason, so they will know how to catch the bad ppl !! ... because they would think the same !
