+1 for the price 1600 is what my turbo and oil feed line cost alone for the STi, but i did make 66WHP for about 400 buck worth of nitrous stuff on the Fit.
805Fitsport's Fit owns ALL!!!! I rode in it at the NRH meet this last Monday and let me say it is definitely fast I wanna see him go up against JR supercharger or the T1R turbo... i think he'd win

I thought he was just running a 50 shot. Both the forced induction kits are betting on more.
We still haven't priced it yet but the Basic kit with no intercooler without E-manage should be priced around $1600-$2000USD (Not firmed).
Perhaps it's just me, but people seem to be missing this part. Granted, the E-Manage is only $300.00, but it'll need to be tuned, so you're probably looking at $3000 for the entire thing, which makes sense. But the price without the E-Manage is VERY attractive. Even if you could have someone tune the car, you're probably going to spend more money on the tune and dyno pulls than you would if you bought the entire thing pre-programmed from A&J. Labor for tuning can be ridiculously expensive, depending on the quality and the shop.
In any event, count me in .

i doubt this 6psi kit will pull me.
A K20A3 + bolt-ons will (about the same price as either of these kits, plus engine management).

i love it how you guys dream of having a K20 in a Fit but lets stop lying to ourselves as its not going to be a easy swap at all, your looking at atleast 7-8grand plus to do a swap on the Fit.
Is your transmission/clutch holding up? Any weaknesses you noticed?
A 50 I would think would be close but if your at 75 shot I bet you have an edge. Did you ever get any times on it?
tranny is perfect, (i do change the trans fluid every oil change though), and the clutch feels great but it does slip sometimes going into 3rd. not times yet, i need a blow down tube, track officials don't even want to see a bottle in the car without a blow down tube. so 18 thousand miles and its holding up well.
for the down tube, just buy a steel tube, bend it and run it under the bottle. As long as it looks functional, it will pass. We need to see some times!

i did that already on the pilot, and they checked it again and saw that it wasen't exiting the car so they kicked me out of palmdale LACR. this was after i pulled a 13.9 there. people were shocked. thats when they checked it again and saw in was still in the cabin.... i would hate to have to drill a hole somewhere... but don't worry, i will have dyno #'s once i get some more cash..

Not if you do all of the labor yourself. Not saying that everyone can do that but if you can you have an edge on others trying to do the swap. Plus with the money you'll save in labor, you'll have cash left over for other things. Anyway I will be doing this swap some time this year. Just want to buy everything I need first and do it all at once! Doing an NA build. Hoping to get around 300 to 330 to the wheels which shouldn't be that hard to reach with a K20A. Basicly want to build a sleeper.
i wish i was baller like all you guys talkin bout doing swaps and stuff. i for one dont have a garage to do car maintenance and saving up money for a k-swap ON TOP OF making the car payments and insurance is just out of the question for a full time student with a part time job. hopefully after i get my degree i'll be getting a M3

lol are you kidding me, there is a crapload of stuff you need, this will easily push it to 7 grand, off the top of my head, you need mounts, engine, harness, pedal for cable throttle body, tranny, axles, custom fabing the front radiator support, header, intake, and the list can go on. oh and good luck getting 300 WHP on a NA K20, maybe on a dyna pack but not on real dynos.

Seriously... 805Fitsport knows what he is talking about. I love how everyone is talking about k20 swap but unless you have the money to fork over then its a no go. And I would love to see someone pull off this swap without the help of a shop! There hasn't been an abundance of swaps where there's a tutorial written on how to swap a k-series into a Fit. Its all custom made. But please... show me how it is possible to swap a k-series into a Fit for under $4,000 because if possible then nobody would be doing FI in the L series. And by all means I am no expert I just read the forums and learn from more knowledgeable people.

I know what the swap involves and if I didn't have the money to do so I wouldn't. I've been an auto tech for ten years now. Been working on cars since I was 14. Now 28 I've been working on honda's and subaru's the past 10 years. I have helped my buddy who has his own shop swap like 200 plus honda engine swaps. All ranging from single cam d series to the new k series into various honda/acura cars. Plus I have lots of knowlege on the K engines, helped build 3 engines so far for people. 2 NA and 1 boosted. Also I have a great tuner to tune my ride. 300 whp on a na K20 is not out of the question. If you build up the top end and bottom end for high compression it could be acheived (13:1 or higher). Also with a Hondata ecu and a great tuner (which I have) the posibilities are endless. Yes it is an expensive project if you don't have connectons and funds and not everyone can afford it but since I have the money, connections, and time to do so I think I will. Also I've been wanting to build a fast NA honda for myself for a while now and I think the fit is the perfect car. I'm not trying to rub in the fact that I can afford this swap I'm just saying that It will be done to my fit soon and I have all the support I need to do it right as well. Will post pics of build as soon as I start on it in the spring/summer. Also you are correct dyno packs suck thats why we use a mustang. So unlike some people on here dreaming of a K swap my dream will come true very soon. Maybe some day we will meet and I'll show you what the NA K is all about. LOL! Good luck on what ever you do to your ride and keep it real.
stock motor should be fine as long as tuning is up to par. and i would not recommend running a universal tune b/c every car reacts differently to xx conditions. its good to run off of it to get to the closest tuner, but do not rely on it for long.
as far as N/A k20 hitting 300whp, its doable. 280+whp has been reached on a stroked type-s motor, and this is without ITB's and garbage idle noise. Its a daily driver and sounds street-friendly. and who cares about dyno #'s, its about track times yo.

I would be interested in the first kit. Coming from a WRX i'm still in the mood for turbo lovin.. in a smaller unassuming package. Let's see Dyno numbers and such. This is looking VERY interesting. Income tax is burning in me pocket.!
Ben, you know I am on board for one of the intercooled turbo set ups from you guys! I can't wait for the summer! Let me know when they are ready to go!
