I sure hope the BOV is gonna be anodized blue or polished.
Not a big fan of gold... Also would be nice if the pipe where the BOV is mounted, could be adjusted to where the BOV sits any direction 360 degrees. I guess what I'm trying to say is,, some people might like it as is, but others might want it underneath the pipe so it can be hidden.

Just a thought!
We will definitely consider

Hey Ben, Is there a dyno sheet we could see?
Nope not yet. I hope to have the official results and dynoplot in the next couple weeks.
Here are some pics from the dyno :

as much as i wana call the misses and tell her vacation is cancled because the turbo is on the way for daddy's car, i am skeptical on boosting this car, only because its a 1.5 liter engine , and although 150 is not outragous, how long will the block hold on this car , on an 2003 Si (ep3 for the nuts) people were blowing holes in them
its just this is such a lil car , are teh pistons and cam up to par for the extra abuse?
Ben: you said you are doing a Greddy e-manage , i assum this is a stand alone fuel management system? if so will we need to upgrade the injectors and fuel rail?
also on a opinion only basis on the fit , how long will the block hold up to that kind of abuse
disclaimer : i may sound like a buzz kill , but any mod that "boosts" the car IMO 1/2 lifes it and really does void the warranty
yah sorry if i sound all paranoid, but this is a serious mod
That sounds great! I think this little L15 engine has what it takes. It would just be that much better with the top and bottom end bullet proofed. Also with mabe a slightly more aggressive cam. All that together with the turbo kit and a good tuning and now your talking. I just might have to buy this turbo kit when it comes out! Although I plan on doing a K20A swap soon I'm just not 100% sure on it yet. I just think force inducting a L15 turns the fit into a different car. Plus the L15 weighs less than a K20a and because of that balance's the cars weight better especially in turns. I keep changing my mind everyday. Anyway great job guy's can't wait to see it fully tuned.
Hi, I'm from the UK... would this fit on my Honda Jazz 1.4 i-DSI Sport? plz PM me
You've got me....... I have no expierences with I-DSI engine.... sorry

GO JAAAAAYSSSSS
i'm sure this motor will hold up fine. The EP3 guys were the first to play with the k-series, so blowing them up was a trial and error sorta deal. Until Hondata released K-Pro for a standalone tuning system, blown motors were reduced drastically b/c fine tuning and safety overboost and lean cuts were enabled. Basically, tuning is the key to the longevity, fuel/power efficiency, and pretty much everything of your motor. My boosted stock k20a3 (same EP3 engine) has been holding up fine for over 15k miles and just recently passed compression test with 180 across all cylinders. I'm boostin up to 17psi daily too, stock motor. Big reason of this is because i was tuned by one of Hondata's best tuners. These K's can take a brutal beating reliably if and only if tuned and maintained right. I've seen 300whp stock A3's, 400-600whp stock A2's (type-s), and 800whp mildly built A2, all daily drivers.
btw, i still retain my factory warranty. Dealers can only void it if the modification is the cause of a problem. My dealer is cool with my turbo setup.
Everything will hold up if the tuning is up to par. With the Fit, i'd recommend the use of Emanage Ultimate over the blue emanage system. Also, Hondata may release a reflash for this setup if needed. Emanage Ultimate has a lot more tuning parameters than your standard blue, making it safer for the setup. You can adjust injector size within the software.
I'm sure this is one of the reasons why AJR is taking their time on experimenting different tunes. But even if AJR includes a base map, you should still take it to your best local tuner and get it dyno tuned. Every car is different and you must program the setup to adapt to your car exactly.

.......
3400 ........is too much of a change in price!!!
It is tuned and have the injectors and all the final details needed tho.
And what about the disclaimer: "Recomended for race use only"
Will it be too much for a daily drived Fit in terms of engine life???
I am no expert what so ever... I am just asking

Too much hard driving http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzuFKPyHSEY (track lap!!)
I never once believed that this kit would go for <2k. Not feasible for profits! Wonder if Edelbrock or Greddy might also get into the mix. The amount of development time and testing has to be paid for somehow, and with relatively lower volume kits they have to factor those costs in on top of parts.

It's just a blanket statement used by companies to cover liability on their end. Basically it's a statement saying "This kit is not street legal". IE you can get pulled over by a cop and cited for it.
