the kit produces around 185bhp @ 6 psi of boost, but what is the highest amount of boost safely usable? with 8 psi it should produce around 210bhp i assume, but would that be safe?

it might be depending on the L15s bottom end, plus this is like the first run for any serious kit , i would not go over 6psi until it gets broken in a few thousands miles personally

ben?

your engine's limit is not determined by how much psi, its how much HP can the motor hold. You can run 17psi on a small T517Z and make only 200whp and the block will still be fine. You can run 6psi with GT35R and blow your motor. As for stock motor's hold potential...no one really knows until someone pushes it on the dyno with Hondata tuning it on the fly.

AJR, what size/brand turbo are you guys using?

Nitrous is something that i don't recommend. It wears down your engie quickly.

Why are people so against nitrous. I swear too many people have been watching The Fast and the Furious...I ran a 50 shot wet kit on my 1991 Sentra SE-R for around 4 years with absolutely no problems.

I think the bigger problem is people getting nitrous that have no idea what theyre doing with it, and then when they do something stupid, and the car breaks...then the whole rumor that nitrous is "bad" gets started when its the driver not the nitrous...

WTF? how does nitrous wear down the engine faster than a turbo or supercharger would? i would say a turbo would do more damage because of all the variables, my Fit has been on a big shot for about 8 months now with absolutely zero issuses, like 07taffetafit said its people that don't know how to use it that give nitrous bad REP. change your plugs monitor your AFR's just like any other FI car and it will be fine.

I used to ran my 92' se-r with 125 shot and all it break was the big rubber hose from the air filter to the tb and a few times actually BAMMMM here goes anotherone

but it was like switching an extra engine, like a damm big truck hit you in the rear end. And then your car want's to go everywhere but where you point it.!!!!!

Could using the following product make it feasible to install the intercooler while still retaining the foglights? I understand the issue regarding bending the pipe.

Bendway Plus Flexible Metal Hose

Just a thought.

^no. you can see that hose pop under the pressure that the turbo builds up.

What is the maximum amount of pressure the pipes realize under load? Is it more than 6 psi? It's regulated by the blow off valve right? Just curious. Thanks!

I wouldn't trust Aluminum Foil under pressure..

I already thhought of it. Just get a set of aftermarket fogs and install it using the existing harness. Or get the mugen style front bumper...

depends on how much boost you want to run. boost is regulated by a wastegate. (internal or external, depending on the setup used).
