i was wondering that also. or at least the tranny mount cause you are stiffening the side where the engine mount is.
Ben, you said it will work with J's or Spoon STB but what about Mugen???
It will work as well.
We are working with ALEX Japan to make a rear engine and tranny mount for the Fit. So I should be having them in the next coming month.

Wait, how would this destroy the stock motor mounts if the torque damper is preventing the engine from rocking back and forth on the mounts in the first place?

I am definitely confused.
I'm no brain surgeon but if you are preventing, or rather hindering, the movement of the engine by adding a torque damper you therefore divert that energy somewhere else. In this case the the engine mounts take the beating and make up for the lack of engine movement. This then is what tears up the rubber engine mounts due to the increased stress load created by the torque damper.
Who likes their stock rubber motor mount bushings anyways?
Aren't most of you who are interested in the engine damper spending your hard earned money on other misc. items?
Why not upgrade your stock rubber motor mount bushings with some added inserts or full replacements?
i just dont see this item practicle on a car that cant get 100whp without extensive mods, this part would makes sense if replacement mounts came with it and you had an engine that needed it
a 1.5 liter engine does not need this part just yet , i would rather get more under suspension pieces

I agree. I think this is a very useful mod. It doesn't matter how much power our babies are putting out. I have noticed wheel hop on several occasions and this will prevent that and keep the little power it has to the ground.
Ben as for mounts what grade urethane is ALEX using???

What more suspension parts could you possibly want. Ben already has springs, coilovers, sway bar, roll center adjuster, and braces up the yin-yang.
dj buddha hasn't read my "first day at the drags" post yet or he would know the fit has the same wheel hop problem as many other FWD vehicles
Clay i've been meaning to ask you... the pics of your homemade ETD are on the opposite end of the engine than the pics of the Spoon one. If the engine is rotating towards the front then how is your ETD working
