Ben,
Your AJR site now has a teaser for a racing brake kit! You've been holding back again on these goodies!
Question: Is it going to be possible to buy the racing brake kit for the fronts and then put the stock disc fronts on the rear? Sounds like a good plan to me!

Martin,
The front rotors are not able to fit the rear without a fair amount of modifications so I guess buying the rear disc conversion will be wiser.
We are working on these at the moment. I was planning to release info when the prototypes are done but you paid a lot of attention on our site so I guess, I will post it up now.
T1R Big brake kit
-Available in 330mm (2pcs) rotor and 300mm (1 pce) kit
-Forged aluminum twin block caliper
-CV Cast steel rotors (extreme durable and capable for racing applications) 28mm thick.
-Street pads available only (Race pads are addtional option)
-Requires 16" wheel for 300mm kit and 17" wheel for 330mm kit
-Availability - coming soon !
Thanks
Ben

haha, bit of overkill for any fit unless it has like 500whp or more. 13" rotors, 28mm thick is about the size of the front brakes on a toyota landcruiser or a ferrari f430
Yes they will not fit 15". We will have 2 kits available for 16" ad 17" wheels.

Just wondering; for somebody like myself who runs stock 15" sport rims for the winter rubber, are there any other options availiable for upgrading the front brakes?

We confirmed that we will be making a over size rotor kit which will be competable to your stock calipers and will fit under 15" wheels.
We are working on it now and we hope to see the prototype in about 3-4 weeks.

Hey that is great news! What kind of performance gains in braking power and increase in heat dissipation capacity do you figure you will see over the stock config? Also ballpark price?

1) 286mm rotor upgrade
-basically this kit will come with 2 x rotors and brackets and you can run your stock calipers. It will work with 15" wheels.
2) Big brake caliper kit
-we will only offer thius kit with 332mm rotor. The rotors are made out of CV cast steel (which is very durable and competable for racing) with Forged alumium twin block calipers.
-pads -we will be using carbon metallic compound and it will be very easy to get replacement. You can get something like HAWK, Mintex or Ferodo.
-brakeslines will be option and 17" wheels will be required.
