Lightbulb T1R Turbo - Final STAGE ! Fit AutoMaTiC

Hi Guys,

I know a lot of you guys have a questionnaire about the T1R Turbo. Will work on the automatic (pedal shift or regular AT) ? The answer is YES it will bolt perfectly with the Fit AT.

Since the AT Fit doesn't have any shift cables and it actually made the installation much more straight forward. All the intercooler pipes lined up same at the MT.

I have taken some pics and you guys can go over them.

Availability - Sorry for pushing back the release date because we kept chaning the components because we want this kit to be as perfect as possible. The E.T.A. will be End of July !

-Here the pic where the intercooler pipe which comes next to the AT tranny. You can see good clearances.

-The windsheild washer fluid bottle has been removed but we are making the relocation kit with a smaller bottle.

-The intercooler pipe sit in between the AT oil cooler hoses and there are no contacts with the harness plug.

-The Turbo , up-pipe and down pipe lines up perfectly but we have made length ajustment to the down pipe.

-Finished pic

Thanks
Ben

We will kit the dyno in 2 weeks and we are assuming it will make the same amount of power that the MT is making.

OMG FINALLY! I HAVE BEEN WAITIN FOR A TURBO KIT TO BE AT LEAST OUT FOR THE AT!!! omggg. i have a couple questions: will our stock torque converter hold up? Do i gotta install a tranny cooler to make things better, maybe upgrade the tranny fluid? I want my tranny 2 last as long as possible w/o damage. I don't care if i have 2 change my tranny fluid the same time with my oil changes to keep my tranny life as high as possible. Amazing kit btw!

Back in the day I had a 1998 CCivic SOHC VTEC w/ Jackson Racing Supercharger and the torque converter held up fine and without a tranny cooler. However, I have always used Motul Dexron III tranny fluid.

After the first day of driving everything feels GREAT! =) As for the tranny holding up, my initial reaction is that it should be fine given the technoligical advances from my 98 civic auto tranny. the intercooler and lastly regular tranny fluid changes. For a lot of track use, you may then want to invest in a tranny cooler. I do recommend upgrading your tranny fluid because it made a huge difference in the driveability even before the turbo was installed.

Oh and btw thats my car in the pics.

Hope this helps.

thnx for ur input. Nice car btw! I had a few more questions: where'd u get ur tranny fluid i wanna change mine too lol. Did u use the paddle shifters when u drove ur car w/ the turbo on or did u let the car shift itself (cuz i use the paddles almost all the time) Yeah i will invest in a tranny cooler cuz i have a brand new one in the box sitting in my garage collecting dust.
Thnx for the info. if you could, send more pix!

Oh btw s0x, no i didn't cream my pants but it was close.
