Also what would be quieter this axle back or a J's Racing axle back with the optional silencer installed.
I'd expect this to be quieter than the J's with silencer.

Oh don't worry bluerice! After testing the 50s v2 muffler for awhile(including autocrossing with it). The exhaust note is quite a bit solid & lower in tone compare with the J's racing with/without silencer installed.
If u don't have any aftermarket B pipe then it's gonna sound just a tiny bit louder than stock IMO.
Can you tell us a little bit about the muffler, such as case size and
if its a straight through or chambered muffler?
thanks!
The main pipe is 50mm and the ID inside the muffler is 60mm and the tip is 75mm.
Muffler has a straight through design so there are no chambers.

Are you guys planning on dyno'ing this?
Also what would be quieter this axle back or a J's Racing axle back with the optional silencer installed.
This muffler is a lot quieter than the J's.

Does it weigh about the same as the stock muffler or is it lighter?
It is a little lighter over stock.

do you have a price for this yet?
Due to fuel surcharge and material cost went up so I think it will be priced at about $375CAD/USD.

wow, this exhaust definately has my attention. maintains a some-what stock look and excellent exhaust tone. i too would like to know when this is gonna drop....ive been aiming to buy a exhaust for my Fit but have been pulled all over the place with all the choices available.....but this is easily the one that interest me the most as of yet. $395 isnt that bad either.....its an axle-back or a cat-back???....im guessing axle-back, $395 fir a T1R cat-back is too good to be true.
Are these available yet? Any chance on doing a introductory offer on these Ben?
They are available now. I will have more time to work on specials next week

The 50S verion 2 (50Sv.2) is the best for my DD with installed J's B-Pipe.
I have the J's B-pipe and J's muffler and found that to be really loud for DD. Fourtunately, I live in a city where the Sheriffs don't make it a point to pull cars over with loud exhausts.
A good indicater of how quiet the muffler is as Jacky (SpoonEK) says in one of his vids - you can hear the tire noise.
With the OEM muffler on - the car is so quiet that rattles, tire noise and vibrations can be heard and felt. This was great because the KWSC makes such a sweet sound (an older guy came up to me and asked if my car was electric, I told him no but I just got 41 mpg on my last fill up (his mouth dropped and he was really interested) I thought that was funny. What would've been more funny is if I made it clear to him that the electric motor sound he thought he was hearing was a KWSC and I got 41mpg with that funny little noise eminating from behind the passenger front wheel). However, when driving in my economy mode, I could feel that the back pressure wasn't correct and the engine would stumble when starting from a dead stop.
With the 50Sv.2 on I still hear the rattles, tire noise, vibrations and the KWSC. However, the muffler is by no means overpowering. It is as quiet as the tire noise. The muffler noise level is perfectly balanced among all of the others. The backpressure is better too. The engine no longer stumbles from a dead stop and I feel the SC kick in earlier (maybe 100 to a couple hundred rmp) and slightly harder.
However, I couldn't see myself tracking the car with this muffler on. The muffler is too quiet. I don't think I'll be able to hear my engine with the other cars around me and my helmet on. I bet Stinkytofu would've had an easier time driving Ben's car to 1st with a much louder muffler on.
The 50Sv.2 that Ben sent me does have some down falls.
One of the hangers on my muffler was .50 -.75 of an inch to short. This caused the flange to not line up properly. As a result, I couldn't stick the flared exhaust bolt through the flange so that it would seat against the B-pipe flange. To hang the muffler I used a J's hard rubber mount (the small holes which is shorter than OEM) and the OEM rubber mount (on the problem side). This still didn't fix the problem. Temporarily I zip tied the OEM rubber mount to the mount on the car. The tension is very good and the muffler will not hit the bumper. However, if the zip ties break the muffler will sag on one side and could possibly get damaged. Maybe I'll call Ben for a replacement before I reshape the hanger.
This is a heavy muffler. It weights around the same as the OEM one. I wonder why T1R chose to manufacture it this way. It would be perfect if it weighed somewhere in the middle between the J's and OEM weight.
The muffler canister is low and wide. It looks like it is an inch or two higher than the lowest point on the black upside down triangular protector (sorry I can't describe the triangular thing better). I'm not sure if the canister hangs lower than OEM. It seems like it does probably because it is closer to the trianglular thing that I used as a reference.
Overall I'm extreemly happy with this muffler. The tone of the muffler is low, mellow, and quiet. The shape of the canister and tail pipe is very simialr to OEM and not flashy like a J's or Spoon N1 muffler. However, for those who look close it looks like the muffler is on steroids (everything is bigger). And the muffler performs better than the OEM one. This muffler scores an "A" and really adds to the refinement of my car.
I have looked into this matter right away. I have fitted a new muffler onto one of our customer's car and there were no problems.
Lance, please send me some pics and let me see what's wrong with it.
Thanks
Ben
