Hey there,

When you mean there is alot of "slop" from the shifter while its in gear and in neutral, do you mean the shifter shakes alot while the car is in motor, or while the car is being revved?

If this is the case, I find it hard to believe since the T1R short shifter would actualy be stiffer compared to the OEM shifter. The reason is because the shifter ball on the OEM one is plastic and slotted which would allow for more lubrication around the joint it sits in. The T1R shifter ball, as you can see has no slots, which would allow for slightly less lubrication and cause the shifter itself to have a more solid and stiff feel from shifting.

Regards,

Jason @ AJR

What I mean by "slop" is "play". You can move the shifter back or forth and side to side about 1/2 inch before it actually moves the shift cable. The stock shifting in the Fit has lots of play.

Try the shifting in an S2000. That shiit is tight. Hopefully the addition of the T1R shifter will reduce some of this play.

T1R shifter

So... My brother ordered me a T1R shifter for Christmas.... Then I traded in the Fit for a Civic EX. So now I got a brand new T1R shifter, but no Fit for it to go in.

If anyone is looking to buy a T1R shifter, PM me.
