I said I was going to make a DIY for the hood damper, but totally forgot to take pics of the install It's not bad though, the hardest part is removing the black plastic cover on the drivers half of the windshield that is held in place by 3 clips. Don't forget to remove the washer fluid hose once it is off. You will need access to the bolts on the hood hinge to install the new one that comes with the hood damper. No drilling is required.

Gah!! I thought you were putting one together, Illusive, so I didn't bother taking any pictures when mine got installed!!!
