They do not recomend running GC with the dampeners because it can go lower than their springs and they were designed to be campatable with the T1R lowering springs. Spring rate I am running 7.25k on the front and 6.5k on the rear which in foot ponunds is 425lbs and 350lbs A&J said that high of a spring rate could lead to premature wear on the dampeners. A side note is that the way the front strut body is slightly taller than stock so you can not go quite as low but with that being said I am still at a 2" drop. I really like this combo because of the dampeners adjustability great for daily driving or shreading the pavement, once a more I am extreamly pleased with my purchase of the T1R dampeners.
And just to confirm, these are compatible with Ground Control coilovers?
Thanks guys!!
We do not have the exposable shock dyno yet but I will post one up soon.
You can use higher spring rates but this will cause premature wear and will shorten the life of these dampers.
I will not recommend using coil-over spring kit with these dampers, if you want stiffer rates and the adjustability, you should consider to go with the T1R B52 dampers instead.

Wow, the S.Tech drop is beautiful, although the bottom of my car would get wrecked on our underground parking ramps at work. I have Swifts and 16/45s, but I don't think it's low enough (fender gap in the rear is meh). Looking for something between that and the S.Techs. I need to see more pictures w/ the T1R springs. The pics on the first page are a bit misleading because of the strong shadows being cast by the sun. I'm definitely interested in the dampers, though. Thanks guys!

How do you hold the top mount from spinning when tightening the top bolt? I used impact for the rear shock but, I don't really want to take the windshield plastics off to do the fronts.
you need to use an allen wrench to hold the stud in place as you tighten the nut down. i think the allen wrench size is 5mm
Thanks for the fast response.
The adjustable dampers have the adjuster where the allen head used to be. Underneath the adjuster there is a (what appears to be a 7mm nut but I'm not sure it's strong enough to stop the bolt from turning. I don't want to chance it and break the adjuster off.
just sit on your fender and tighten that bolt down best you can. dont hardcore tighten it though. just enough to be snug.
When I did the rear the self locking nut would turn the bolt and did not even start tightening, so I use the impact gun. I would do that to the front too but, I didn't really want to take off the windshield assy..
Okay, after reading your reply again, do you mean put weight on the suspension when tightening? In other words finish off the install by tightening the bolt after lowering the car back on to the tires.
