We finally finished the prototype intake fit 09 Fit. The T1R B-Max intake comes with an intake chamber with "VENTURI EFFECT". The chamber is designed for air restoration and inlet pipe, we tapered the size it from a bigger I.D. to smaller I.D. to cause a Venturi effect. When the throttle is OFF there will be a volume of air restored inside the chamber and when throttle is ON with the combination of the chamber and VENTURI EFFECT, this speeds up the air flow delivered to the combustion chamber, in other words you get more power and engine response. Unlike other CAI (Cold air intake) or SRI (short ram intake) being sold on the market, we have expierenced alot of poor engine responses, acceleration and loss of torque BUT with the T1R intake, besides adding horsepower, this will also improves the driveability of your 09+ Fit. Our intake for the 07-08 Fit has been proven to be one of the best intake on the market.
The intake will be made out of FRP with gel coat finish along with our special dry flow air filter.
Dyno tests will be performed shortly. I will keep you guys update on that shortly.

does that loop make and helpful power gains in the lower end?
The reason for the loop being there is because there isn't enough room to build a chamber direct to the filter so we made the loop in order to achieve this effect.

You don't have to extend any wiring for the sensor. All you have to do it to cut of the factory strap off the factory harness and re-strap them.

Hope you guys will sell it for less than it goes for oversea`s.... Since it looks like they are the same..and if so you guys would be the 5th company to market it...... BTW Carbon would be nice....( "hint hint" )

Yes the original mold was being produced by the same manufacturer as LS but we have change quite a bit of things in order to work better for the USDM Spec GE8 as well as the appearance.

What about the price..?? any ball park price range..??
It will be priced about the same as the current GD3 intake.

The multiple bends in this system will inhibit air flow speed. When dyno charts are available for both systems, the PRM straight GE8 intake will beat this one in power/torque gains.
