We would like to introduce the NEW T1R S-Coil lowering springs for the Honda Fit. The S-Coil springs offer a drop of 40mm on the front and 35mm on the rear with the spring rates of F.2.9kg/mmR.6.1kg/mm. We are aiming for performance and to lower the car as much as possible without sacrficing suspension travel and ride quality. We also offer 1 year unlimited mileage warranty on the springs for defect or sagging. Available by May 2006 Estimated price $239CAD approx. $199USD.
The pic shown is the actual product but for the production model the colour will be in metallic blue.
Thanks
Ben

Looks nice but those spring rate are a bit strange. The rear is twice as stiff as the front? 6.1k for a progressive spring is very stiff and will definitely show driving on city streets.
Did you mean to say "slow driving on the street" JDMGD3? Just curious. I think it would be fine... I mean these are in the range of what Spoon Sports offers for the Fit...

The primary rate of the spring is 4.3k and when it is fully compressed it will become 6.1k. These springs were being sold in Japan for awhile (in a different brand) and they were no issues about ride quality.

I forgot about that. Its called a progressive spring for a reason and that is because when the car is riding over smooth pavement and the springs arent compressed at all, the spring rate is usually just slightly stiffer then stock but if its all the way compressed then the spring rate gets stiffer. When you say primary rate is 4.3k, do you mean that at the top of the spring, its 4.3k and at the most bottom its 6.1k? Thanks.

Yes, that is called Progressive. Progressive springs offer a soft inital spring rate for a plush ride. Pregressively wound design provides increased resistance to bottoming as spring compresses. Improves handling while retaining OEM geometry. The top portion of the spring is 1.8k and the lower portion is 4.3k so it adds up to be 6.1k.

Actually they are different cuz the Spoon springs only lower the Fit by about an inch.

From what I heard in Honda Tech, T1R is AJ Racing own in house brand name, which have nothing to do with Type One Racing in Japan that is related to Spoon. I know it sound confusing, but I think they just have similar name.
AJ does not manufacturer T1R. T1R = Type One Racing. All made by Spoon in Japan. Hence the orange rectangle stickers with "type one racing" on all the spoon cars.
I have cleared up the confusion in many forums. T1R = Type One Racing but it has nothing to do with Type One Japan. T1R products are developed by AJR and manufactured in Japan while Type One (Japan) is just a mechanic shop and they don't make any products.
Thanks
Ben

Are you sure thats the way spring rates add up? Because the softer part will compress first, after its compressed it just turns into the higher spring rate, right??
6.1 in the rear is way to stiff, it will cause dangerous driving caracteristics as oversteer will be induced if braking happens at a corner.
