Curious about est. price and availability. Also anyone make aftermarket intake manifolds to replace the plastic upper or even the whole thing?

80.7/109 - 100% = 36%.

I was expecting closer to 90-94whp stock (15-20% drivetrain loss). Here's hoping the manuals are better.

Nice gains with the intake. How efficient with the hood closed?
Yes I agreed with you.

There were no issues for the hood to close with the intake.

How are the headers coming? They will fit the USDM model right?

Please ohhh please make it so

I just can't stop stairing at my stock engine bay envisioning all of your goodies in there!
We are working on the headers now and I hope to see the prototype in a couple weeks.

Price hasn't been determined yet. The engine cover, I think Last Station does make one.

Before I sign on for a $300 part, I'm hoping one of you can answer a question for me. Can you really feel the difference after adding this or any intake? Has anyone timed their car in a 1/4 mile or 0-60 before and after the mod?

I meant the actual manifold not the cover, not sure if there is a need but def. if someone goes forced induction I would think that manifold wouldnt hold up.

intake looks real nice. How loud is it compared to stock? I don't like the added noise of a cold air intake on some cars.

I would think it would be louder since the element is closer to the driver. My CAI on my past cars were quieter than a WAI that sat closer to me. Just from expierience.

The intake is loud when you floor it. Normal driving, it will be not as noticeable.

Any issues of heat soak with the hood closed at low speed or high speed driving? Throttle Response? I know there has to be quite a difference from dyno to actual street performance with a short ram like that near the engine.

Please consider making a non-carbon fiber intake at a lower price.
Some people may want to paint their intake...

Price for CF and FRP doesn't make too much difference tho. If we make them in FRP then we have to paint them so it will come up basically the same price.

Yeah i was gonna paint it VBP. I like the CF look but i would rather have it color coded to match my intake manifold cover.

You don't need to paint them. So you can pass the savings on to us.

It is hard because everyone here likes different colour so i guess CF will be the best option.
