I've just put this intake in per Fit of Rage's instructions. Based on the picture of the intake being dynoe'd, I now have a couple of questions.
1) How come there's a piece of tubing connecting the IAT sensor to the intake. Shouldn't this just sit inside the OEM grommet and get reconnected??
2) How come the filter with the intake dynoe'd is red, and not blue, and why is the end of it completely open?? Realistically speaking, doesn't that mean the air coming into the intake isn't really filtered at all?? Did I miss something in my own install?
Does this product suit that engine too? Any tests done?

There are no fitment issues with the L13A but since we don't have L13A here so we are not able to dyno it.

There's no extra tube for the IAT. All you have to do is to take off the OEM grommet from the stock intake then fit on to the T1R and reconnect the IAT, that's it.

The one we dynoed was the prototype unit and the actual production model is slight different.

Wouldn't there be a considerable difference in airflow if the end of the conical filter was open (as the one dyno'd) as opposed to closed (as the one sold) ? Do you have any updated dyno results with the *exact* product as you are currently selling it?
