Lightbulb T1R Carbon Intake (Dynoed) Revised !

Hi everyone,

We finally got the chance to test fit the intake and did a dyno test for the prototype T1R Carbon intake today Here are some pics and results.

-T1R intake installed

Specifications:
-CFRP/FRP made
-special chamber design for mid-range torque and acceleration
-washable intake air filter
-comes with all hardware for installation

-On the dyno

Results:
Peak @ 6000rpm :11.8 hp 17.2 ft/lbs torque
Mid-range @ 4000-4200rpm : 6whp 9-10 ft/lbs torque

The engine peaks at 6000rpm and there was a spike at 6300-6400rpm and that was cause by changing gears so the stock engine peaks at 74.2whp. I just want to clearify so you guys will not get confused.

We will dyno the T1R exhaust and the T1R crank pulley tomorrow then we will have more results.

Thanks
Ben

Will it have a carb# or some sort?

Merced, Ca police are getting kind of strict if your parts don't have a carb# or its legal. You'll get an TICKET.

My brother got an end section exhaust welded on his civic and got an TICKET instead of an FIX-IT TICKET.

We haven't determine on price yet but most likely will be around $350-$400CAD approx. $315-360USD.

No we don't have a CARB number for the intake. It is a bolt on piece, unlike weld on parts which POLICE will dive you trouble with.

Regardless if it has a carb # or not. I plan on purchasing it because it looks amazing, its power gain and I like carbon fiber!

i WANT TO SOLO-1 (AUTOCROSS) but so far I only get a fair price on the helium rims ($375.00 if that is fair to you, but from $550.00 is good for me). and then there is the tires----- I could get them ( Toyo A1R or something like that, I AM NEW TO THiS) for th"cost" wich is $97.00 but no money so , will have to wait and go first in stock mode, so the category G

AJ once you get that thing hooked up with the exhaust and the pulley you are going to make mad power. Every other intake dyno result I have seen floating around really don't start making power until 3500-4000 RPM. This little bad boy you have here looks like it start building power at idle.

Hey AJ if you get time with your dyno runs could you try the following. I know it would be a lot of work but would really help in selling package deals (hint hint)

Intake
Exhaust(50s)
Exhaust(50r)
Pulley
Intake + Exhaust + Pulley

Plus any additional combinations that you might have time to perform.
