Only 16mm for the rear? All this stuff is so backwards from what we used when I was into VW's, I guess I have to figure out what is what for the Honda's.
Whats up with the mounting in the center of the rear beam? It looks like there are U-bolts going over a flat surface.

After installing the suspension with camber/toe dialled in the car actually oversteers so stock is 22mm so we up rate the front to 24mm and the rear 16mm is to nutralize the car. The rear might be bigger but so far the car is very neutral.
The "U" piece is to hold the swaybar bracket in place and thats the only way we can think of at the moment.

I know I know, but when you guys get all of the kinks out of it, sign me up for the first set as long as you guys don't make the price outrageously high Season is winding down here, so I'm in no rush
We used to bolt a heavy bar in the middle of the C channel to increase the rigidity of the beam, but maybe thats just a VW thing. It does work well though.

very interested. I have sways on my element and it's like drivin a different car. I can only imagine what the Fit would be like. make sure you include new endlinks and poly bushings.
Ben I'm also wondering about the rear sway bar. I thought there was factory integration with the rear sway and solid beam axle. Did this make removal/installation even harder?

Now, the solid beam design works similar to VW and the difference is the solid beam on the Fit is round. This made us really hard to make a bracket to hold the sway at the center.
The design we have is very easy to install but we are still testing if it can still hold in place after period of time so we'll see.
The test for the front sway is finished and the car is very neutral so with the rear sway, it made it a bit oversteer.

But oversteer is fun For autox it works well since you aren't running the high speeds where it will get away from you. It usually just makes it rotate a bit better through the tight one.
