Fit Splash Guards - I need your input!
#41
Well we did some testing yesterday and there is a rear set available:
Honda Splash Guards - Rear (Fit, Fit Sport) - Bernardi Honda Parts and Accessories
Honda Splash Guards - Rear (Fit, Fit Sport) - Bernardi Honda Parts and Accessories
Also, its been said a million times, BUT, how many years and we still don't have a COMPLETE set of splash guards for the Fit Sport??!?!?? Is there not a company in existence that has the capability to produce these and make a ton of money?

no those will only work for 2009-2010 as noted. The 09 Fit was a new redesign.
There is a rear set for 07-08 but they have not been tested for fitment on the Sport models:
Honda SPLASH GUARD, RR. - Bernardi Honda Parts and Accessories

i've been thinking about getting a set for my GD3 base. I would love to see some pictures though if anyone else has them on their GD3 base. Might sound stupid, but my only concern would be that they would get caught on a speed bump? LOL. But yes if anyone has them on their GD3 i'd love to see pictures =].

My wife has splash guards on her Forester and even though she drives more frequently than I do her car never seems to get dirty.... My Fit always looks like it needs to be washed.... It wouldn't be as bad as it is if we weren't out in the woods on a dirt road but it was much worse before the county put a road in.

I just bought a Honda Fit Sport model the other day. Since my Subaru Legacy wagon has them by all 4 wheels & they have kept my car a lot cleaner from the frequent snows we have, I added on the option to get splash guards. I am cancelling the order for them if there are only 2. I wonder why the salesman did not mention they would not work on the Sport model?
Also, it makes no sense not to have splash guard for all 4 wheels. Snow & ice accumulate under all 4.

get some rally armors and DIY. does a better job at keep debris from sideswiping the already too thin paint job on these Fits!
also i just looked up cost for the base model and it's like $40-$50 compared to basic universal rally armors for $20

^ I agree with the Rally Armor. Even if Honda made a set for the sport trim, I would still stick with Rally Armor. OEM Honda splash guards are mounted on top of the bumper/side skirts and after awhile the splash guards will ruin the paint on said parts.

Based on the posts in these forums, there are a HELL of a lot more Sport Fits running around than Base models. If there were splash guards that fit the Sport, you would sell a lot of them. Because of the weather/road conditions in my area, I would add guards to my Sport if they existed. On the other hand, some Sport owners would hate the look of guards. I hate the look of mud on my fenders.
Here it is...
