Well guys,
Looks like the time has come for everyone to sign up for the track. I am thinking that all those attending will have a meet, prior to the actual day of the event, so that we can decide how we will plan the caravan up to the track. We already have enough people to get the transponders, so if you plan on attending or are sure you can go to the track day go ahead and sign up @ Speed Ventures - Track Events for Everyone! for the May 11th track day. I will be contacting Al Red car about when we should have our pre-track meet.

so whos going? i checked the list for sunday and there arent many fits going. i thought a bunch of you were rollin.
Add one more to the list, I was kinda lagging because I was waiting to find out from OJR. But I just decided I'm going wether or not he gets the kit out to me on time.
BTW Everyone that wants to come out that day, please do not pay for the transponder, as we will receive them for free on the day of the event. I'll be contacting everyone shortly to figure out how we will meet up before the day of the event to caravan to the track.

Is this also included for friends of Fit owners that are not driving Fits?
Yes anyone interested in attending is more than welcome to caravan up there with us and to get the transponder for free. Just sign up @ speedventures.com and pm me your phone number and name and email so I can get back to you with the information for caravaning up there.
To anyone that plans on going to track day, I'm thinking we should have a meet before the actual track day to plan out how things will be carried out on the day of the event (ie. caravan, meeting locations). Let's see some more interest guys, we currently have 3 Fits and an Xa registered for the track day. I also believe another member is driving some type of Hyundai. I'll repost the attendee list after this weekend. Only 2 weeks before the event. Also KW will be there the entire weekend with their Fit.
This list is actually taken from the speedventures website for people that have already registered and will be attending the track day on May 11th. Anyone interested in tracking their car should take advantage of this opportunity by signing up and registering by MAY 2nd. We only need 3 more registered and everyone will receive free transponders.
Note: If you plan on caravaning with us please pm me after signing up so I can get your information. We will be planning a pre-meet to get the plans ironed out before the event. Also please do not pay in advance for the transponders as we will be receiving them at the track at no additional cost. You will still need to bring your own helmet though. Great chance for any beginners to learn some things about tracking and setting up your car as well as seasoned drivers to get out there and tear up the track with your fellow micro owners.

I spoke with Aaron yesterday and due to the demand to attend this particular track day they'll be opening up another session to allow a couple more cars onto the track. So it's not to late to get in on this track day and duke it out with some fellow micro drivers. Also I have already arranged the FREE transponders with the event organizers of the phone so we are GUARANTEED them once you sign up with speed ventures and contact me to get on the list.
BTW today will probably be the last day since I was told that they already had 10 people wait listed for the Sunday event. If you can make it out and would like to attend contact me by pm or phone.
Just so you guys know, I'm signed up to instruct for the day, so if anyone needs some help, just ask! I'll be more than willing to show you around the track!

Sorry to post so much later. We've been rebuilding the H-Fit website. I wanted to post some of the pictures from the event. It was lots of fun. Had a chance to hang out with the Fit guys (and gals) and also the Jackson Racing guys. (Sorry Joe, didn't get a pic of your car!) Some crazy things did happen. 2 people rolled their cars (s2000 and an older 911). They were all okay but it's a reminder how careful we all have to be while driving. However, it was a good event. Hopefully, we can plan another similar event in the future.
