Little FYI on the code scanners.. California new law that auto part stores cant loan anymore scanners out, but you can still BUY them.

tried that. Went to my local auto zone that read codes for free and they told me they no longer offered that service.... so then I asked if I could use one as a loaner tool and they said they didn't have one.

Also I don't know if you guy read the newspaper, but in today LA Times in the Business section (one of my favorite section) wrote about the 09 Fit, the title "Honda Fit: A dorky beauty" the writer Dan Neil wrote this which kind of made "....every bit as dorky-looking as the previous edition.....Honestly,this thing couldn't get a date for porm with duct tape and burlap sack."....

You'll never know until you test drive it. IMO. I think it's still too soon to make a final judgement about the 09's. Aftermarket parts do make a difference... so far, I've seen mostly stocked 09's. I can't wait to see what people on this forum plan to do with 09's. It'll be interesting.

Actually, the writer, Dan Neil, was very impressed with the Fit overall. Here are some of his quotes:

"a car that just happens to be one of the best-engineered vehicles on the planet."

"The Fit is pretty near the top of my favorite-cars list..."

"One of these days I'll buy one..."

"The best subcompact on the market is slightly larger, vastly stiffer, noticeably more quiet and comfortable..."

Does the above sound like he doesn't like the car? I don't think so.

dope. I just hit 40k miles today as well AND bought my car in Oct 06... Only difference is that I bought it with 4 miles on it.

I (still) <3 my Honda. :Vtec:

... Btw, I found someone with a scan guage and was able to get the code my CEL was throwing. Turns out that my 2nd cylinder is misfiring. So either the plug has been fouled or the ignition coil has burnt up from the heat of the turbo.... I'll check it out when I get a chance, but for now Tiffany is down.

camber hubs? or shims? i have never heard of camber hubs. That sounds like a plan to me tho if they had them. Shims are cheesy... BUT they are CRAZY CHEAP!
