a little help if possible

2 consecutively days I have thrown a cel and cleared it but it comes back. It throws the car into limp mode and won't rev past 4000 rpm....does anyone have access to an OBDII reader? I need to know what code its throwing. Right now I am in fullerton and will be done with my bike ride in about an hour or so, then back to corona. If anyone has one.....

Dan

I hope you have luck in finding the problem and it isn't difficult or costly to get things right again..

P2647 - Rocker Arm Oil Pressure Switch

Just bought the part (p/n 37250-PNE-G01) at my dealership @ $70 + tax. -20% coupon for like $64. Bernardi has them for $44...but time is of the essence for me today. Anywho....getting ready to swap it out now and reset the ecu. I'll check back when done.

(part #12)

So, where does the whole outline that is #10 sit on the engine. (They usually have a line connecting the sub-view to the big view in these schematics.)

It's fixed now.

And the outline, #10 mounts directly to the face of the had, farthest to the right side. You can see where the 3 bolt holes line up. Took about 30 seconds to swap the part out.

Cool. (I like easy fixes. And ones that go well. )

maybe those people who had similar issues in the past had this thing go bad too?

My mom's BMW was throwing codes as well, scanned it yesterday before you came over. "System Too Lean"...

From going on the forums, it's either cracked intake piping or a messed up "Disa Valve" which is part of the Double-VANOS unit aka BMW VTEC, makes the intake longer or shorter for better all-around response... or it could be a number of other things...fml

Well, gimme has almost done all the work for a DIY here. If he could add some pictures and build it into a separate thread, I'm sure everyone would appreciate it.
