2008 Fit

Phoned Honda Canada customer relations today. Asked them when the 2008 Fit would be available.

Answer: possible announcement in September. No word on when they would start arriving at the Honda dealerships.

Anyone have better info?

September/October is usually when they start sending them to us. so I would stick with that

any word on color changes? are we going to get white this time?

The only change is that there's some sort of tweaking to the engine, tranny and/or gearing. 2008 5 speed Fits are supposed to be a bit better on fuel economy with no change in weight. It's probably just a 0.1L/100km improvement... just enough for it to qualify for government rebates.

God, I hope so! I too want white. I think Taffeta White on the Fit Sport looks amazing! C'mon Honda Canada! Im waiting to get a 2008 Fit Sport in the spring...I hope make white available...the canadian civic and accords have it.

Yes, White is available on '08 models

and they added Blackberry Pearl this year too. but the regular Silver is now gone. Check it out at Honda Canada

Also, looks like the prices remained the same
