MT Fit RPMs @ various speeds

Hi there...Just wondering what the RPMs are for going 110, 120 and 130 KPH in the MT Fit. I test drove a MT yesterday but there was too much traffic on the highway to bring it over 100. For 100, 2900 RPMs seems pretty high compared to the AT...which is around 2500 RPMs. Im certainly no mechanic...but why the higher range for the MT? Thanks
