Im selling my '97 Prelude with 68,000 original kms so that I can buy an S2000. I have narrowed it down to 2 options:
1. Buy a leftover '08 or '09 (still new) in Rio Yellow Pearl with black interior. I really like the new rims. I plan on getting the rear wing, side strakes and front lip.
2. 2003 that has never sold. They got this car in the summer of '03. Color is Grand Prix white with a blue interior. The manager of a Honda dealer says that he has no plans to sell it. However, he told me that he would sell to me since he knows how fussy I am with how I keep my cars and of course for the right price. The manager drives it very rarely in the summer and it gets stored in the showroom during the winter. He took me for a drive in it a few months back and it currently has just under 4,000 km on it now. It has been registered for 2.5 years so by next spring/summer, warranty will be down to 2 years. For this one, I also plan to install the OEM wing spoiler, side strakes and front lip. What would be a fair offer for this car? I posted in the Canadian section since we all know how much they were new. ($48,000 in '03.)
Anyone have any feedback from driving an AP1 and an AP2?
I dont plan on modding this car...just enjoy it during summertime. Im looking at buying in the spring or summer. Still keeping the Fit though!
