LOL!! thats the best part. i dynod the day before with just a cone filter in place of the air box, and got 92 to the wheels. i had to put the stock box back on for the race. hes got 170ish to the wheels i think. but like spoon said, its more about driver skill and handling ability of the car. if he had remained stock, we would be in the same class, but he has a cold air intake on his, that bumped him into STS.
I guess it's all talent, man. For me, when I'm familiar with the road, like my windy road here in Cortlandt Manor, NY, I beat my roommate/friend's bimmer any time. I don't really street race but when I'm getting tailgated I just leave them on the turns/hairpins.

So, who won?
i beat him again by about .7 this time, and i have another race tomorrow, so i need to go to bed!!
I'd put money down that the winner probably won't be announced till Tuesday...my bet is that Ben and the crew are probably out somewhere for the August long weekend...
I guess someone has something better to do than to keep checking the forums!
Good job, Lyshk0! Man, your friend is bound to just slash your tires one day.
Let him win once in a while, eh?
...
Nah! Kick is his but tonight, man!
Thanks for the support man! He actually didnt run today though, but in other news, my friend Bob in a 88 (i think) porsche 944 got the same time as me (within a second anyways, we both got 1:22 and change), so I'm happy about that

i'd say it was at least 3/4 mile overall, but 1 long straight was about 1/4 mile long, and then the rest of the course was very tight turns. the only problem with the way the course was laid out, was there was no way to carry any speed through alot of the corners. i'll see if i can type out a general set of directions for ya lol...
90ft straight into 90* left
20 ft into 70* left
40 ft into 120* right
30 ft into 90* left
15 ft into 90* left
40 ft into 140* right
20 ft into 30* left
10 ft into a 180* bend left about 20 ft across
20 ft into 140* right
15 ft into 40* left
15 ft into 90* left
15 ft into 120* right
15 ft into 90* left
15 ft into a 180* bend right about 15ft across
15 ft into 40* left
15 ft into 30* right
15 ft to finish
the distances are not exact, but are pretty relative to each other. basically there was no line to drive through that whole section, and that was about half of the course time. you just had to coast through most of the corners there, point at the inside of your next gate, and tap the gas quick to get you there. nobody could even stay on part throttle for that section. but owell, it was still fun! i'll post up a video later for ya.
