New Honda Fit/Jazz in europe before 2009?

I have an old Fiesta about to break apart... so I'm under pressure to get a new car. As soon as I saw the specs of new japanese Fit, I noticed that there was nothing like it. So I decided to wait... however if it turns out that it will only be available in 2009 I'll probably go for another japanese car of the same price level. They have already release in europe their new models (Mazda 2; Toyota Yaris; Susuki Swift). Why is Honda delaying?!

Please don't delay too much coming to europe with that Jazz... those engine specs put anything miles away. Success is certain

So far the new Fit has trickled down Asia in countries like Singapore. Hopefully this "global" car will truly be everywhere before 2009 so when Honda does give news for Europe, it should definitely be on their worldwide press release site.

With Ford releasing the new Fiesta over your neck of the woods, Honda really needs to release the new Fit in order klto not be left behind.

i think the new Fit will be in the UK/EU soon, i spotted a 2nd Gen in Warwick today, it was Grey colour, in Left Hand Drive with black tape all over it

I bet my Fiesta the new fit will debut in europe at the Paris Motor Show in October... oh well Long wait...
