Question about warranty...

Does anyone know whether Honda will void your warranty if they see modifications? I've got a new grill in at the moment and the car's due in for a service soon.. just wondered whether i should take it out for the service so the car is back to OEM condition?

Thanks in advance!

I talked to my Honda dealer here and he said that modifications are not a problem. But Honda is not liable for any damage caused by modifications. I don't know whether this is valid in the UK or not, so the best thing might be to call your dealer.

Cheers for the advice mate!

I'll give m local dealer a call and see what he says.. I'm pretty sure you're right though, mods should be ok but honda won't cover any damage!

Thanks again

revzero will become famous soon enough
As far as i'm concerned, any mod is ok as long as its not engine modifications

modifications do not affect the warrenty unless the dealer can prove that your modification broke whatever part you are trying to get fixed under warrenty. it would also help that all the performance parts are legal for emissions laws in your country.

Yup, I phoned up the dealer, he confirmed that my mods will only mean the warranty won't apply to the modified part!

Cheers for the help guys!
