Hey how do you print this out so that it's the right size? I've tried like 4 times and I can't get the size right.

For those of you that just used a dremal to cut out the holes for the sidemarkers can you tell me exactly which tool you used? ie. cutting disc, drill bit, etc.
I'm waiting on my nibbler tool to show up in the mail but I might want to just try and go ahead with the dremel instead. I want to go get some new bits for it at the home depot though depending on what I will need.

Good show mate.
....ok, enough of that.
So im wondering if i should use my EF markers that are al ready here.
Or buy Proper (GD) markers?
hmmmmm.....
well do make sure you buy th "DC" markers and not the "GD" markers when it comes to sertan websites. There charging more for the GD's than the DC's. How stupid do they think we are?
...Dont awnser that. Ill be my own judge when it coms to that.
But thanks for the post.
peace.

Cutting Disc. Buy a pack of 30 cuz they break alot. Make sure to cover the area you will be cutting with painters tape. Then put the template over.

I made a templet out of plastic. I basically made a sidemarker hole in a thin piece of plastic before cutting into my fenders.
I measured out the location as per the instructions but the center of where the sidemarker would sit. Used a grease pencil and wrote on my fenders.
I put up my templet, traced it and cut away.
I used the discs for the whole process. I didnt break one disc. Used the same one for both holes.
When cutting. Slowly push the disc into the metal starting at the center of the sidemarker outline. Then slowly work your way left/right. This prevents from making the whole too big.
Start small and work make it bigger.
I actually shaved down the little ridges ON my sidemarker instead of cutting the wholes bigger.

How about protecting the bare metal that is exposed once the fender is cut?? Seems like that would speed up rusting?

Go to the local discount or advance auto parts and buy the little pen bottle of car paint that matches your car's color. Use the brush side carefully on the bare matel part of the cut.

So, does the DC5 amber kit from JDMland provide a plug and play solution for the Fit? Furthermore, is it possible to marry the GD3 clear lens kit with the wiring harness from the DC5 kit?

plug and play haha.
alright , all you do is kinda like wiring up a speaker to the same line as another speaker(did that make sense?).
you can do it the way i did it(the broke way).
just slice the turn signal wire and the parking light wire...wire it up like that.
then electrical tape the rest up.
or you can go buy those cool connector things, that it basically just cuts its way into the wire(just a tad, but enough to get connection) and it does the same thing.
ps...
Buy the metal cutting disc, they last longer!!!! the heavy duty ones that is
and i just used electrical tape to protect the rest of the paint around where i was cutting.

My apologies, as I too just realized that when I was rushed into actually making the template, I unfortunately didn't check to see if the printed scale was set correctly. I will try and correct this problem ASAP, but for the time being this can be used if you ignore the body lines.

I know this is late for some of you but I do have the template proper sized and am willing to send it to your email if any one needs it. The one I have is for the DC5 markers.
