HD Emblem?

Ha ha ha ..... No, not Harley Davidson!!!

alright, I wanted something a little different to complement my Home Depot grille lower. (by the way, its really smart to do the lower strictly to keep rocks out of your AC condenser)

This took way too long - not sure if I'm crazy about it yet. Comments?

I know that grill! lol I've used it on my previous cars, but not this time. I want the big Diamond grills. Anyways thats a good way to keep rocks out. I just don't like the look anymore. Nice emblem though Kinda like an illusion.

Some pics from a little further away would really show it off.

As its a bit close in to really get comfy with it.

Would you possibly paint it black to check it out before/if you ditch it (only if you dont dig it though)

I would imagine since its so perforated that the rad still gets tons of needed air right? I kinda dont like the idea of it getting just enough. I dont know how much it matters though, I have never seen anything like that measured.

I do notice it contrasting quite a bit with the upper grill though. I dont know if its bad, just that it stands out.

ok guys, the thread was about the emblem not the grille..... My dad has the HD grille behind his lower grille on his Element so I knew the idea was not new. I figured a million of you had done the grille lower (although I was amazed at the two threads where they completely removed the upper and lower and replaced with the Home Depot mesh, WOW)

With all the discussion on different emblems (JDM Red, different colors, etc) I'd see what you thought of my mesh emblem. It took a lot of time and trial/error to get that crap cut to fit perfectly in the recesses of the front emblem.

The Emblem looks good to me. Looks like you did spend a lot time on it. Cutting that grill must've not been fun.
