Dents in the fit

Thank God the ones i got are pretty stealth and not too noticeable, but I have noticed that the metal construction of the body panels of the Fit are pretty weak since they get dented pretty easily. Im a neat freak and been wondering if the "dent fixer" or however that thing is called could fix this..any suggestions, comments? I really dont want to feel like Im the only that gots dents around here...

I have 2 door dings right now that are driving me crazy. I'm gonna try one of those dent repair specialists, anyone have any experience with that kind of service?

It beats painting the whole door/panel if you really want it done right. I paid a guy $35 to fix one on my previous vehicle and it came out nice. The result really depends on what size/shape of the dent and they will normally tell you if it's doable ahead of time. I recommand to try it first since they aren't expensive before you take it to the bodyshop.

Thanks for the advice. I don't think the dings are too bad, most likely caused by parked cars so there's no paint damage as far as I can tell and no bends in the metal, just indentions. Hopefully it will work out and be fairly inexpensive, will let you know. Thanks again.

Yep, the dude came to my house and fixed it in the driveway -- could never even tell afterwards, and the price was reasonable ($80.00).

Some dents/dings they cannot fix -- like if they are too close to the end of a door panel, or something like that, but many can be repaired and no repainting is required.

I was impressed. Find one (Paintless Dent Repair) in your area and you'll be pleased.

Happy New Year from Canada!
