Post when do it...

3500-4000 highway miles for me. It hasn't been sitting since I got it.... so the amount of time (usually 3 or 4 mos. is irrelevant).

If you have to ask you should just use the maintenance remininder tool built into the car's computer. It can't get any easier than that. Read the owners manual for more information.

Hey... you have to remember to set the reminder for it to work! (I forgot last time... but know when it was done.)

my dealership sticker in the window says every 5K. that's what my book says too (but it also ssays when oil indicator reaches 15%) 7,500 is too much IMO. 3k is too early. 5K seems to be the gneral feel on this website.

you need to change the oil when the car tells you its time, as hard as it is for me to get out of the "every 3000 miles" habit,
Honda spend lots of money and engineering to create the algorithm that calculates when you need to change the oil, it looks at all the engine parameters, so it will be different for everyone depending on how they dive.
i change it at about 20%, which for me has been about 4000 or so miles

I've been following the maintenance minder since I got my Fit (June 2006).I only use my local Honda dealer (it's worth it to me, this will change eventually). I think I average a change about once every six moths, I don't have my maintenance book in front of me. BTW, I work about 13 miles from home an have less than 33K miles on the Fit. The little monster runs like a champ!

I was told to change it when the sensor told me to change it, somewhere between 15% and 0% on its "Oil Life" scale.

but have yall felt the oil at 5k oil changes helluh gritty.

have you felt the oil when changing at 4k...semi gritty

even at 3k, its somewhat gritty but not that much. im broke so i change mine at 3.5k miles

extended to 500 extra miles because royal purple is EFFING expensive.
