Detailed a swirled civic

Hey guys, did this car for a friend of mines wife. Heres a couple before pics:

Car was washed with ONR and clayed with meguiars mild. Car had tons of contamination on the vertical sides but not alot on the horizontal sides... Weird.

In the halogens:

Customer only opted for a 1-step so I hit with menzerna p203s on a 4" flat white on my PC. Heres some 50/50 shots.

In the halogens after:

Car was topped with meguiars #21 and left to cure for about half hour. Wiped off any residue with FK 425.

Just in case you guys's car might look like this. Showing what a good polish can do.

Nice job! Hope your buddy brought you over a nice 6-pack or something.

What other products did you use? Any ScratchX work?

Nope, scratchx is mostly for hand polishing which barely removes anything. I wouldnt get close to HALF the results I got if I were to use scratchx. Only polish I used was p203s. Only other products was Optimum no rinse, FK 425, optimum quick detailer and meguiars clay bar.

He is my buddy and everything but I still charged him, gave him a good price though. I wouldnt do 6 hours of work for a 6 pack!

Great job! Meguiars makes some great products. Have you checked out their detailing forum - it has a lot of great information. Hope your friend will enjoy his non-swirled Honda.

Yeah I check out their forum every once in a while. I only got a couple meguiars products but I swear by them and cant do a detail without them. M105, M21, and M26. I get most of my meguiars stuff through Auto Detailing Solutions -- Meguiar's Car Wax, Auto Polish & Detailing Supplies Store
