Seems legit. That's how I've seen them do trade in cars at the dealerships before they put them back up front to be sold lol!

Lol! Yeah I know what you mean, no one can clean my car like I can. A "wash" is never a "wash" with me, always turns into a full detail inside and out.

being this guys looks like he's in asia, it could be a flooded/tsunami'd vehicle. most asian countries have to salvage the cars, since its way more expensive to replace them.

Same here, you will never see me paying for a car wash because they don't do as good of a job as I can

Unfortunately, he is telling the truth. Well, at least I've seen it at the Honda dealership where I used to work at. Not exactly like the one in the pics, but I've seen the detailers pressure wash the interior of used vehicles and either crank the heat up or leave the vehicle out in the sun to dry.

I just seems like that wouldn't dry very well... I guess one could take the seats out to let them dry in the sun?

If the carpet had any padding, it would never dry. With the Fit, however, might not be a problem. Cheapest carpet on any vehicle I've ever owned, with no padding either.

From experience, I owned a Jeep Cherokee that took on water and soaked the pad. It was still wet weeks later. I ended up ripping out all if the carpet, removing the padding, using truck bed liner in the cab, then reinstalling the carpet without the padding (so would readily dry if it got wet again).

Ironically, while I don't plan on fording with the Fit, the carpet would probably dry on it's own.

I honestly wasn't thinking about the carpet as much as I was all the little nooks and crannies of the seats... just doesn't seem like they would recover from that so well.

I find the radio screen can get dusty, I think that might be overkill for cleaning it
