Need some input on this pls....

So i bought a set of tanabe springs off a fellow member here but they need a little bit of a makeover lol. i already spoke to a friend w/ a shop who is going to sandblast them for me, but the problems lies in the paint!

what paint should i use for springs. another friend told me to use latex acrylic but i want some feedback from the ff community.

any input is appreciated.

its not about anyone seeing them its about the paint chipping and cracking off because of the flex and then the springs get rusted. a guy told me he'd powdercoat them for $80
