The '04 S2000 horns sound nice and loud. Anyone know if this is a "plug-n-play" item for the Fit? I think I remember seeing 2 wires inside the connector on the S2k horn.

vividjazz will become famous soon enough
Hella Twin Horns are popular throughout Asia on the Fit / Jazz. They are reliable unlike a lot of air horns, don't take up a lot of space, sound good and easy to install.

oh cool thanks! I was looking in the engine bay and getting my friend to press on the horn but still didn't have a clue. I'll look for them tomorrow.

If you have deep pockets try hornblasters.com for train air horns.

Raaaaaaaaaay. is an unknown quantity at this point
Some of you are describing the horn as an import sounding horn...
The Fit sounds like a boat horn. Like a bass boat. It sounds like shat IMO.

It doesnt sound import at all. Id love to put the tC horn on my Fit. Sounds loud and importish.

A custom horn would be nice-

How to install it-

Didn't see one for the FIT. But the two models look like they generically fit many of the Hondas.

Or if this horn is too mundane then try-

Maybe try the custom install by Janice but it won't be cheap.

Edit: If the FIT has two horns and you add the PIAA horns can you then make it "four" horns or just the two stock ones replaced by two PIAA horns?

The PIAA horn is two horns each of a different pitch so it has a different more generous sound to it. Think of one note played on the piano vs two notes in unison.

They offer 400/500 hz or 500/600 hz dual horns.

If anyone adds a horn that really like- can you post an audio clip????

Just a little FYI. Trucks have 2 horns, a city horn (electrical), and a country horn (air). So unless you plan on installing an air compressor you would only get the city horn which is pretty wimpy in most trucks. At least in the ones I've drove.

The OOO GAH HORN is electric and is from way back around the 1920's or 30's I think. Nowadays it's just a novelty horn.

LiL Wee FIT will become famous soon enough
Yup! The horns are on the passenger side, under the windshield washer tank.

I replaced the stock horn with the Hella Dual Horns "New Generation". It is definitely a good upgrade over stock. The stock horn doesn't do jack! If I'm on the highway, people don't even hear my horn! Now with my Hella dual horns... I can show my prescense

it was quite simple....

I took off the bumper, unhooked the stock horn and fed new wires for the new horn :P

I guess the hardest part is finding a way to get power from the stock connector.
