Wink Honda Fit 2007 Service Manual

Received the Honda published Service manual for the 2007 U.S.model of the Fit. It's worth the $75 plus a couple of bucks for shipping. One of the easiest manuals to read and follow I've owned. Makes it easy for any one familiar with basic car maintenance expericence to do most of the A and B services. Alternatively, you can loan the manual to your local auto service person and he can easily perform the A&B services when required.

I have downloaded the online version, but elected to buy the printed manual, too. I'm just not used to having the info on the computer and like having the manual with me when I work on the car. Seems the online is a good reference piece, but to actually work on the car, nothing beats a printed manual.

Honda/Acura owners should count their blessings that service manuals are available and that they are so cheap. Try finding manuals for Euro cars... and when you do, they are in the hundreds of dollars at least.... and they are nowhere as good as the Helms manuals.

I ordered mine from Helm a few days ago. I'm waiting for it to arrive. I purchase one each time I get a new Honda.

Electrical Manual

Yes, the Helms manuals are a good purchase. Slightly less expensive if you order from their website rather than from the page in Honda owner's manual.

Unfortunately, they don't have the electrical wiring manual available yet. Just the repair manual and the body manual.

So what am I missing... the only "free online" copy of the Fit/Jazz manuals that I have found are for the 2005 (and earlier) models offered in Asia/Europe. These are "pretty close" to the 2007 NA Fit design and are fine for basic stuff but differ in some key areas (such as wiring/electronics, HVAC, etc.). Is there a 2007 Fit manual available online or is hardcopy the only way to go?

The Helms Manual is worth the $75. I have copied pages out for my auto service provider who will be doing my scheduled maintenance. If he needs any additional info I have the manual ready and available. He took great care of my Volvo 850 for thirteen years.

For the guys with this manual, does the A service really call for oil only? Either the L15 is light on oil or the owners manual is wrong.

I could not get the online manual in the other tread to work "Need IE" or something...
But this site does work with opera or other web browsers:
http://www.hondafitjazz.com/

Why not make a sticky list over online/downloadable manuals and DYI sites?

The first thing new users (like me) want to search for is the manual when you come to this part of the forum...

Yes, oil only, UNLESS there is valve noise in which case they would adjust the valves (very rare). It only holds 3.8 quarts of oil including filter.

The electrical manual is (or at least was) available from Helms - check their website. By the way, the electrical manual is TERRIFIC!!! By far the best I have ever seen. Makes it very easy to find the right wires to hook into for adding accessories, etc. Very nice schematics backed up with photos of all the wiring and also location and access information.

Question URL for 2007-2008 US Fit Service Manual?

Anybody got any links for downloading US-version Fit Service Manual (2007-2008)? I saw links for 2005 and earlier European versions, but wondered if someone had a link for what I really need. Thanks.

Holy smokes... am I doing something wrong? When I found the 08 Fit FSM on the Helms site, it's $125. Sure would like to find it for $75 like the 06 Pilot FSM. Says it covers 07 and 08 Fits, is THIS the same animal?

Thanks!
